Keijuhiirulaisia ja hiirenvirnoja
Fairy-mice and mouse’s pea (line-art) I saw a little mouse in the grass one day. It didn’t notice me at first, so I had a chance to watch it quite a long time. It was so small and so cute. I really wanted to paint a picture whit mice in it. I remembered there is a plant, which is called “hiirenvirna” or “hiirenherne” in Finnish. (Literally “mouse’s pea” in English.) There’s a new one to my list of fairy-animals.  I tried to make the picture more balanced then my “keijukettu” painting. Hiirenvirna was a really hard plant to draw. Mice were too quite hard – Their anatomy is so different then I usually draw. The heads were especially difficult. I hope you like them.  The final picture will be a watercolour painting.
