Reference for :icongathering-of-gods:.

Name: Amarathimi, but often called Minna by gods who know her well.

Height: 5'2" (160 cm)

Title:  ‘The Librarian’ or ‘The Eternal Writer’

Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Powers / Domain: Amarathimi is a keeper of the books of destiny with a power to make everything she writes in her book to become reality at some point in the future. She guards and watches over a giant library filled with books that describe everything that has ever happened.

All her powers revolve around writing. She can control any event that might happen at some point in the future. She has no power over events that have already happened. If she needs to, she can re-write what she has already written, but big changes or changing immediate future require a lot revision and she is often very reluctant to do it.

Her power only works on one book at the time. She has to finish the last page of the book she is working on before she can summon and begin a new one. Limiting the access to her quill or the book under writing is an effective way to render her powerless.

Not allowing her to write for a prolonged period of time is extremely bad idea. The legends say that if the history ever catches up with what she has written the time itself will stop.

Personality: Amarathimi is kind, diligent and enigmatic goddess who takes pride in what she does. She doesn't like to take active role in the conflicts of the universe, preferring to stay in the background and continuing to write. What motivates her to keep writing is unclear to everyone, since events she writes about are not always all joy and sunshine. She is very often a little bit melancholic for this reason.

She is very reluctant to fight but she can be very dangerous when angered. Her fury usually calms down pretty quickly, but can be really devastating to everything and everyone. If she accidentally does something horrible she immediately regrets it afterwards and tries her best to make up for it.

Realm: Library of Fates.

Amarathimi lives in a giant tower-like library taking care of her books. The library is neat and orderly (yet somewhat dusty) with plenty little spots to sit down comfortably and start reading. In the middle of the library there's a little garden with trees as old as time. She prefers to spend her time in the garden when she is not writing or taking care of her books. Her realm is very quiet. You can easily hear your steps echoing in the long corridors or wind rustling the leaves in the garden.

Any god is free to enter her realm and study the books as long as they behave well and don’t try to take a peak in the book she is currently writing. Causing havoc and destruction inside the library or trying to steal, alter or destroy any of the books is sure way to upset her.

Gods with fire abilities are kindly but firmly asked to keep their powers under control or leave. She doesn't want to have any fire near her books.

Followers: Most of Amarathimi’s followers are scholars, traveling from town to town collecting knowledge and sometimes delivering information about important future events. She does not accept offerings of any kind, but many still pray her for good fortune for important events in their lives. Things written by her monks are sometimes though to have a touch of her power making them very careful of the words they write. Mistreat of books and any written material of any kind is deeply frowned upon.

Minions and Relationships: Amarathimi doesn't have any minions and she leaves her library for obligation to write and for not wanting to leave her books unguarded. She is not used to be around the other gods and tends to be quiet and withdrawn during any festivities. She doesn't have many friends or enemies - the other gods tend to be wary in her presence for her ability to alter their future too.

Fair warning: Siltae, the dress fairy, is her sister and likes to visit her realm often. She is very bad at trying to deny anything from her sister and responds to her shenanigan with a headshake and a long sigh. Siltae’s tricks are the most common cause of major rewrites.

So she's like the Fates in Norse/Greek mythology. Cool concept!
